Within the last twelve years, she’s gone from being homeless with six children in the streets of Atlanta to running for City Council in the “2017” election, from a GED to a Doctorate degree in Leadership Studies, and became a 14x published author. Dr. Holden was named Ga./ National Mother of the Year “2020,” by American Mother’s Inc.

She is now an inspirational speaker, empowerment coach and workshop facilitator to encourage and empower others that they have the Power to Rewrite their Story.

During the four years her family was homeless she taught her six children the principles of servant leadership. They are now retired military (Marines), active-duty military (Army), authors, in the medical field, entrepreneurs, and a recent high school graduate.
